Weston Tyler Winkler, D.O.

Biography

An Honors graduate from West Virginia University, Dr. Winkler completed medical school at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He served as a Flight Surgeon in the United States Air Force at Charleston AFB for 4 years before entering into his Diagnostic Radiology Residency at the San Antonio Military Medical Center. He served as chief resident and was honored as being one of the top 3 graduating Radiology residents in the state of Texas. Dr. Winkler then served as a general Radiologist and chief of mammography at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base for 4 years. Dr. Winkler joined Abercrombie after completing a fellowship in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of Virginia. His interests include Orthopedic and Women’s imaging as well as minimally invasive procedures. He is Board certified by the American Board of Radiology and a member of numerous societies, including the RSNA, SSR, and ACR.
