Samuel L. Maynard, M.D.
Biography
Dr. Maynard graduated from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville with Highest Honors. He then attended medical school at the University of Tennessee at Memphis and completed his internship and Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Kansas at Wichita. In Wichita he served as Chief Resident in radiology and was very involved in resident and medical student education. While in residency, Dr. Maynard also served as the American Medical Association representative for the American Association of Academic Chief Residents in Radiology. He is board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Areas of special interest for Dr. Maynard include women’s imaging (diagnostic mammography and breast biopsies), vascular/interventional radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and CT guided biopsies.
