Daniel W. Walsh, M.D.

Biography

A Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Dickinson College and Alpha Omega Alpha graduate of Temple University School of Medicine, Dr. Walsh served as president of Temple’s AOA chapter during his senior year in 1990-1991. He completed his radiology residency at Madigan Army Medical Center and served as Chief Resident during his senior year. Dr. Walsh served as Chief of MRI and CT at Eisenhower Army Medical Center in Augusta, GA. He is Board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Since relocating to Knoxville in 2002, Dr. Walsh has served on multiple hospital committees and is currently the Director of Medical Imaging for the Tennova South Ancillary Office. His areas of expertise include musculoskeletal MRI, oncologic and breast imaging that include breast biopsy procedures.
