Hunter Upton, M.D.
Biography
Dr. Upton graduated Cum Laude with a Chemical Engineering degree from Auburn University before attending medical school at University of South Alabama College of Medicine. Dr. Upton then completed a general surgery internship at University of Mississippi and Diagnostic Radiology residency at the University of Tennessee Medical Center – Knoxville, where he received the Academic Excellence Award upon graduation. Dr. Upton specializes in Neuroradiology after fulfilling a one-year fellowship at Vanderbilt University. His areas of interest include imaging of the brain, spine, head, and neck as well as general radiology. He is currently board eligible and is a member of American College of Radiology, American Society of Neuroradiology, as well as various other professional and medical societies.
