At Abercrombie, we are committed to obtaining the upgrades and additions that are necessary to maintain our standard of comprehensive quality imaging.

GE 1.5 TESLA MAGNETIC RESONANCE SCANNER
This unit, housed at our Weisgarber Road location, began operation in 1989 and has been continuously improved to keep up with the latest technology. It offers the following features:

- Gradients and quadrature high resolution surface coils allow for high resolution studies and fast scanning techniques to reduce scanning time.

- Magnetic resonance angiography is available to assess intracranial vascularity as well as carotid-vertebral disease. Peripheral vascular studies of the extremities for patients with contraindications for angiography are also available.

- Accredited by the American College of Radiology.

OPEN MRI (Weisgarber Location)
Our Open MRI has clear, unobstructed space on three sides, so you can see and talk to our staff during the exam. That means a more pleasant experience for you. Open MRI is ideal for claustrophobic patients.

HELICAL CT TECHNOLOGY
Utilized at our Weisgarber Road location, the MX Twin has dual head technology capable of computed tomography arteriography (CTA). This technology provides quick, very high resolution studies with extensive reformation capabilities and detailed examinations, such as high resolution chest scans and temporal bone studies.

HIGH RESOLUTION ULTRASOUND UNITS
We offer high resolution ultrasound in both our locations for linear and sector scanning as well as transvaginal ultrasound. We also offer abdominal and pelvic ultrasound, and breast ultrasound.

COLOR DOPPLER IMAGING
Color Doppler Imaging is available for imaging carotid arteries, extremities, small parts, deep abdominal vessels and for the evaluation of deep vein thrombosis of the extremities. Peripheral arterial vascular studies are also offered at our North office.

STATE OF THE ART MAMMOGRAPHIC UNITS
Available at each Breast Center, these units are highly rated by the American College of Radiology for consistency in image uniformity.
